Having lived in other countries where they have ID cards I can’t see any problem with them in principle. There are certainly more serious infringements of liberty we ought to be concerend about.
Having to pay for them is wrong, though.
The banks owns my flat. I’m more worried about that, the the government owning my ass. They are welcome to it if they want. I’m not that attached to it.
