That little iCal icon in the Dock – why does it always say July 17th until you open the application up? That’s a really stupid piece of design.
Dragging it into oblivion as we speak.
(Insert stock complaint about absence of right mouse buttons here).

I go away for one night and you do four geek posts in a row??
Babe, I promise, I was thinking of you all the time.
You know you can use an ordinary 2 or 3 button mouse right?
Yes, I do. But then I’d be defeating the whole point of having a notebook, which is that I can close the lid and carry it to work / into the garden / upstairs / downstairs with the greatest of ease and absolutely no wires or peripherals whatsoever (up until the point at which I need to recharge, which is an impressive four hours).
I too have a notebook. And a mouse in the office and one at home on the desk. In all other locations I use the trackpad, but I still find a mouse useful for most of my time.
Karen, please can we have another book review soon? I’m beginning to find all this geekifying a bit scary, and may have have to go and stick my head in a bucket. 🙂
Sorry Vaughan, I’m slogging through a heavy chunk of non-fiction at the moment. But I’ll post some photos of Switzerland for you later.
Pete, I love your long-term committment to things that annoy you. This was annoying you two weeks ago, and here it is, annoying you again! You’re so dedicated.
Have you downloaded any exciting widgets yet? I’ve got a wi-fi locating one and a wikipedia one, plus the Hula Girl because come ON.
Links, girl, links!
I presume that the wi-fi locating one is Air Traffic Control, the Wikipedia one is Wikipedia and the Hula Girl one is Hula Girl.
The Widget index is here. I’m off to spend some time exploring.
