I’m waiting in for a mattress to be delivered. Today’s theme is bed.
Ah bed. That happy place where I woke up in a panic an hour and a half late this morning leading to a frantic rush across London to Paddington and jumping onto pre-booked departing train with 2 mins to spare. Phew. Having fun with trains this week as yesterday’s train back involved someone assaulting a passenger and guard, smashing a window with a fire extinguisher and then jumping off the train.

I really haven’t got any clever ideas today. I will have one of everything everyone else orders, and I will have them in bed. And some toast. Please. You do delivery, right? Thank you.
I’ve been studying the weather forecast for Sunday night/Monday morning (I love a good synoptic chart) which can generally be summarized as DOOM. Therefore, I propose that we all stay in bed then with appropriate bed or storm related drinks. So, I’ll have a Perfect Storm and a duvet, please and thank you.
Well, to mix Graybo and Clair’s themes, I’d have to go for a Tornado please. (Storm, and the train – perfect)
And to match the bed theme, please make it a king-size one. (Ah-ha!)

We got a new mattress recently, so I could definitely do with being back there right now. It is the comfiest thing in the world ever and is a billion times better than being at work.
