We still have a lot of chillis in the kitchen, though many have been sent to good homes. A few have also been planted outdoors in the trough with the tomatoes, and are looking very strong.
Some of the ones indoors are flowering. And we all know what flowers signify, don’t we?

Did you pinch the tip out, Pix? We got flowers very soon after doing that. Perhaps it could sit out on the balcony in this nice weather, for a bit more sunshine?
Yeah, I did, and then it got a wee bit taller, and the stalk got a lot thicker, and then just recently, some new leaves have started to poke from the top again, and a few tiny almost leaves from the bits where the other leaves join the stalk.
Maybe I need to re-pot him?
That sounds like reasonable progress, just a little slower than our lot – but they do have a very sunny windowsill to sit on. Don’t panic!
