Haven’t been able to figure out what this little blighter is, spotted on the banks of the Kennet & Avon Canal yesterday.
He came here to kick ass and eat flies. And those are delicious flies.

The Basingstoke Canal is awash with blue dragonflies today.
That’s a portmanteau of Snappy and Lazarus, by the way. I snipped off a flower stalk yesterday, so I’m pretty sure Snappy means business. What a trooper.
